Prep Cook


The work shift for this position will be either swing shift or evenings.

Responsibilities
+ Greets and interacts with employees in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.
+ Learns and communicates daily menu offerings to employees.
+ Completes opening and closing checklists in a timely & satisfactory manner.
+ May assist Server Assistants (Bussers) as needed.
+ Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, walls, and refrigeration equipment.
+ Informs supervisor immediately of product shortages.
+ Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstation, carts, and refrigerator.
+ Stores foods in designated areas following proper procedures.
+ Is familiar with and uses proper rotation guidelines.
+ Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils.
+ Follows proper cleaning and sanitation procedures at all times.
+ Fills and maintains food and condiments line.
+ Checks for proper temperature and time control for all items on the line.
+ Follows proper HAACP guidelines when handling, preparing, storing or stocking food items.
+ Works days, nights, weekends, special events and holidays as needed.
+ Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.
+ Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule and subject to change.

Requirements
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
+ Must have one to three months cash handling and food preparation experience.
+ Must be quick and efficient and have the ability to work in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment.
+ Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment desired.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class II (B) gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
+ Washington State Drivers license or photo ID Card.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently requires working in walk-in refrigerators and freezers at temperatures as low as -10F. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
