Estimator- Metal Fabrication Experience Required

Volt Workforce Solutions has an open direct hire opportunity for a full time Estimator for a client in Arlington, WA. The Estimator will analyze blue prints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, projects or services by performing the follow duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
+ Review incoming bid packages for viability as a prospective project.
+ Creates material lists for a bid and locates sources and prices for the material.
+ Creates Labor Estimates for the bid.
+ Summarizes the bid package for the final evaluation my management.
+ Establishes and catalogs historical cost data to create more accurate bids.
+ Coordinates with Marketing as required in the preparation of bid presentation packages.
+ Analytical: Synthesizes complex or diverse information. Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data. Designs work flows and procedures.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
