Manufacturing Trainee
Sound Woodworking Sound Woodworking Arlington, WA Arlington, WA Full-time Full-time $17 - $18 an hour $17 - $18 an hour We are a cabinet door and dovetail drawer box manufacturer looking for an experienced or an entry level worker to help in the production of either doors or drawer boxes.
We need someone we can train to operate our machinery and equipment to produce components used in manufacturing kitchen cabinet doors or drawer boxes.
Experience is not necessary because we train on our specific equipment, but If you have operated any kind of power tools or machinery (woodworking, metalworking, etc.
) large or small, that would be helpful in this job.
Experience in any kind of production environment is also a plus.

Personal requirements are:
reliable transportation, dependability, consistent attendance, able to follow verbal and written instructions, productive with minimal supervision after learning the position, and a good attitude.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities vary from station to station but may include cutting, shaping, assembling, or sanding component parts that go into manufacturing cabinet doors or dovetail drawer boxes and verifying the quality of the parts produced.
Benefits:
An annual 1 week paid vacation, 6 paid holidays, and Friday afternoons off.
We work 7:
30 to 5:
00 Mon - Thurs (9 hour days) then work only 4 hours on Fridays (off at 11:
30am).
