The project coordinator will provide expertise and consistent use of standard tools and methodology such as Visio, Project, and Smartsheet.
The incumbent is expected to work with all levels of the organization across diverse areas to implement solutions driving process improvement.
Experience working with Hospital/Healthcare Revenue Cycle processes including reimbursement methodologies and Payer relations preferred.
Works effectively and cooperatively within the workplace.

Salary Range:
$28.
36/hr to $42.
54/hr DOE Skagit Regional Health offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 457b/401a (retirement), long term disability, and paid time off to all employees holding an FTE of 20 or more hours per week.
Eligible employees also receive sick time pay.
Essential Functions Plans, manages, and coordinates multiple assigned functional projects simultaneously, ensuring stated goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
Reviews project proposals/plans to develop recommended time frames and budgeting requirements; identifying resource allocation needs; establishing work plans and staffing models; perform process and value mapping, data collection utilizing data collection tools, displaying data on value stream and process maps; formulating and defining technical scope and objectives; identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks; complete action plan follow up with project participants; and performing other related duties associated with driving projects to successful completion and achievement of business outcomes.
Creates and maintains project management training materials.
Leads development of standard project management tools and methodologies to drive the development and implementation of the integrated work plans creating and implementing issues management, risk management, communication, change management and relationship management tools or, methods.
Coordinates, plans and facilitates meetings with project teams and coordinates the interaction within other departments using proven tools and techniques.
Makes presentations to large audiences as required.
Carries out communication plan to ensure key stakeholder awareness.
Serves as the primary liaison between the project sponsor and the project team.
Fosters an environment that results in team cohesiveness and motivation.
Proactively engages with project team using high touch methods of face to face, webinar and telephonic communications.
Ability to recognize when there is a need to adapt and alter tactics as applicable to the needs and context of the project.
Works with project leads to assure successful completion.
Develops transition plan from project to production and manages project documentation including lessons learned Performs other duties as required which can also include Administrative duties including tracking and trending data, coordinating meetings and invitations.
Communicate effectively and cooperatively in the workplace.
Comply with all Skagit Regional Health, department and location specific policies and procedures.
Adheres to all SRH policies and department/location specific policies and procedures.
Education Bachelor's degree required.
Prefer degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Experience/Training Preferred (3) years of project management in a healthcare setting with an understanding of provider and hospital healthcare administrative processes.
Experience with Revenue Cycle and Finance processes strongly desired.
Minimum two years of experience interdepartmental/multi-facility system preferred.
Must be proficient in MS applications such as Word, Excel, Visio and Project.
Must demonstrate knowledge of standard project management concepts, practices, procedures, policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.
Preferred knowledge and experience using Six Sigma, LEAN or other process improvement techniques.
License/Certification Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), or Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) certification strongly desired.
Preferred LEAN certification/expertise.
Other Qualifications Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
Must present a professional demeanor, encourage participation & collaboration in an open approachable style with both internal & external customers, be proactive, highly organized, detail oriented & able to respond in an accurate and timely manner to project management needs.
Must have strong analytical/problem solving skills in order to assess project needs and develop multiple scenarios for solutions.
Must have solid judgment and take personal responsibility and ownership of all work performed, enjoy working in cross-department environments and obtain an understanding of all functions within the teams.
Must be resourceful, innovative, confident, and credible with a high level of integrity.
This position requires flexibility in the number of hours worked to achieve organizational goals.
